Man United have been drawn against Paris Saint-Germain in the last 16 of the Champions League.
Jose Mourinho’s side face the daunting task of taking on the Ligue 1 giants, who boast the likes of Kylian Mbappe and Neymar in their attacking ranks.
It’s worth remembering that United went out at the last 16 stage of the competition last year, when they lost out to Sevilla.
Meanwhile, United’s cross-city rivals Man City were handed a favourable draw against German side Schalke.
City are one of the favourites to win the trophy this season, and will fancy their chances of reaching the quarter-finals, especially as Schalke are currently down in 13th place in the Bundesliga table.
Spurs will face Dortmund – the sixth time they’ve faced the German side in four years – with the first leg potentially taking place at their new stadium.
Interestingly, Spurs’ last European opponents at their old stadium White Hart Lane were also Dortmund.
Premier League leaders Liverpool – who reached the Champions League final last season – will be up against Bayern Munich.
Reds boss Jurgen Klopp has a fierce history with Bayern and will be eager to show up the German champions, especially as they’re currently struggling for form domestically under new manager Niko Kovac.
The first legs will be played on 12, 13, 19 and 20 February, and the second legs will be played on 5, 6, 12 and 13 March 2019.
