CESC FABREGAS is considering his future away from Chelsea, according to reports.
The 31-year-old has struggled for game time under new Blues boss Maurizio Sarri following the arrivals of Jorginho and Mateo Kovacic.
Fabregas missed the start of the season with a knee injury but has been restricted to just two starts in the Europa League and Carabao Cup.
The Spaniard has not featured in the Premier League as Chelsea remain unbeaten with Ross Barkley above him in the pecking order.
Spanish outlet Sport claims the midfielder schemer who is a free agent next summer seems resigned to his time in West London coming to an end with no contract offer on the table.
The ex-Arsenal man, however, has not ruled out remaining in the Premier League next season and will consider a return to Spain or a new challenge in the MLS.
Fabregas moved to Stamford Bride from Barcelona four years ago and has gone on to win two Premier League titles and the FA Cup and League Cup.
Meanwhile, the Blues are set to offer defender David Luiz a one-year extension.
Like Fabregas, the Brazilian is a free agent next summer, but Luiz has been an integral part of Sarri’s set up forming a solid partnership with Antonio Rudiger at the heart of the Chelsea defence.
The Blues top brass are keen to thrash out terms with Luiz and his representatives about extending his stay at the club.
