JURGEN KLOPP is hoping to fuel Liverpool’s road to the title with a special drink.
Sport Bild claims the Reds have hired former world swimming champion Mark Warnecke, who has created two mineral thirst-quenchers designed for Klopp’s men.
The citron and orange drinks will reportedly “significantly speed up regeneration after exercise.”
It’s said that Warnecke will work alongside Liverpool’s nutritionist Mona Nemmer, who is regarded as the best in the world after plenty of success at Bayern Munich.
Together with fitness coach Andreas Kornmayer, Klopp hopes he now has the winning formula to keep his team in tip-top condition as they look to challenge for multiple trophies.
And Liverpool will put their new-found drinks to the test when they take on Chelsea in tonight’s Carabao Cup third round clash at Anfield.
The Reds are expected to give chances to new signings Fabinho, Naby Keita and Xherdan Shaqiri.
While the likes of Dejan Lovren, Nathaniel Clyne and Alberto Moreno could also get the opportunity to prove their worth to Jurgen Klopp.
Simon Mignolet has already been confirmed to start in goal after finding himself behind summer arrival Alisson in the pecking order.
While Daniel Sturridge will lead the line as he looks to get a goal against his former side before Liverpool then make the trip to Stamford Bridge for a Premier League battle on Saturday.
