Tottenham are refusing to sell Moussa Sissoko this month after Fenerbahce rule out move.

The Turkish giants were reportedly keen on the Frenchman as they look to add to their squad before Friday’s deadline.

But Fenerbahce, who have made a poor start to the new season with one win and two defeats have denied they are in for the midfielder.

In a statement, the club said: “In the public opinion, the news that we are attempting to transfer Moussa Sissoko … does not reflect the truth.

“Regarding a transfer of Moussa Sissoko to our club, there has been no contact with the player, the manager or the club.”

Sissoko moved to North London from Newcastle for £30m after an impressive Euro 2016.
