But the Daily Mail insists Ramsey, 27, is in no hurry and is set to follow Mesut Ozil’s example in waiting until he is ready.

Arsenal have so far failed to meet their playmaker’s demands but he is in a strong position and can speak to other clubs from January.

Ozil’s hold-out ended up netting him a £350,000-a-week deal with Gunners chiefs keen to avoid losing a prized asset for nothing.

Unai Emery dropped Ramsey for the clash against Chelsea but spoke highly of the Wales international following yesterday’s win over West Ham.
