Kylian Mbappe is pretty good, isn’t he?
In fact, he’s so good, that he’s been constantly compared to a host of former greats throughout his young career.
In the past, the 19-year-old has been likened to former France heroes Thierry Henry and Zinedine Zidane, as well as the legendary Pele and even his former idol Cristiano Ronaldo.
And after the weekend, even his club have got in on the act by releasing a video comparing him with Brazilian World Cup winner and ex-PSG star Ronaldinho.
But wait, Mbappe is nothing like Ronaldinho, right? Well, no, but this might actually freak you out a bit.
You see, Mbappe scored a simply wonderful goal for PSG in their Ligue 1 clash with Guingamp on Saturday.
After powering through the defensive line, Mbappe managed to chip the ball over the top of Guingamp’s goalkeeper to help the club to an eventual 3-1 win.
But weirdly, it seems Ronaldinho scored the exact same goal against the exact same opponents 15 years ago.
Check out the footage below and decide for yourself.
It’s pretty strange, right?
So, having just won the World Cup, I guess this means Mbappe is going to head off to La Liga in a year or two? That’s what Ronaldinho did after all; going onto conquer La Liga after his stint in Paris.
With Real Madrid seemingly sniffing around the Frenchman, it’s certainly possible that he’ll one day follow in Ronaldinho’s footsteps.
For now, we’ll just enjoy the goals for what they are.
