BARCELONA have made Manchester United’s Paul Pogba top of their “dream” target list and believe a mega deal to sign star is possible, according to reports in Spain.
They claim new director of football Eric Abidal wants to make an instant impression by bringing the World Cup winner to the Nou Camp.
And Mundo Deportivo even ran with the story on their front page, led by the headline “Pogba, The Desired”.
The article says Pogba’s agent Mino Raiola offered his client to the La Liga giants earlier this year.

But Barca would have to fork out a gigantic financial commitment to prise him away from Old Trafford.
However, after not securing Atletico Madrid’s Antoine Griezmann in an £88m deal, they have been keen onlookers as the Frenchman’s relationship with Jose Mourinho soured over recent months.
And the Catalan publication insists Pogba, 25, is chomping at the bit at the prospect of a switch to Barcelona and his relationship with Abidal could help to get the move over the line.
Barca are looking to fill the void left in their midfield by Andre Iniesta and it seems they view the former Juventus man’s power and ability as the ideal replacement.
United will not allow their £89m club-record signing to go easily and would demand a huge profit on the fee they forked out to bring him back to Manchester in 2016.
The English transfer window also closes next week, which would leave Mourinho with little time to find a replacement.
After his success in Russia, Pogba has been holidaying in Los Angeles.
His club boss last week issued a plea for his World Cup stars to return early from their break to ensure they were ready for the Prem kick-off at home to Leicester next Friday.
But the star is not expected to resume pre-season training with the Red Devils until August 5.
Meanwhile, Abidal denied any interest in signing Pogba after claims he held a secret meeting with him in LA.
The former Barca defender says he knew his pal Pogba was in the City of Angels but insisted he did not approach him and claimed that is not how he goes about his business.
