REAL MADRID have swooped in to agree a deal with Roma for Liverpool target Alisson, according to reports in Spain.
The goalkeeper is in Russia preparing for Brazil’s first game of the World Cup against Switzerland on Sunday.
But, according to Mundo Deportivo, the 25-year-old has already made plans for after the tournament by coming to an agreement with Madrid.
The deal is said to be worth £61million with an additional £4m in bonuses.
Brazil’s No1 is believed to have been a target for Jurgen Klopp at Liverpool as he looks to sort out his goalkeeping problem.
Loris Karius appeared to win the faith of Klopp as he was picked between the posts more often ahead of Simon Mignolet.
But the German goalkeeper was prone to mistakes last season and reports suggested Klopp was on the hunt for a new No1 with Alisson top of the list.
Instead, he looks set for the Santiago Bernabeu with new Real boss Julen Lopetegui.
Costa Rica’s Keylor Navas has been in goal for the European champions but Real are constantly linked with replacements.
Manchester United’s David de Gea has been a long-term target for Real.
So the possibility of Alisson, 25, moving from Rome to the Spanish capital will also come as a relief to the Old Trafford hierarchy.
