While they also report that Emery wants to replace Lacazette with Valencia forward Rodrigo.
The former Bolton loanee netted 19 times for the La Liga club this term, with his form earning himself a spot in Spain’s World Cup squad.
However it seems highly unlikely that Lacazette will depart the Emirates just one year after joining the club for a then club-record fee of £46.5million.
He finished the campaign with 17 goals and four assists in his maiden season in England – a modest return considering he was sidelined through injury in the middle of the campaign.
While he also forged a formidable partnership up front with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, however it remains to be seen where Emery will play the duo.

Lacazette was left out of Didier Deschamps’ French squad for Russia, with Arsenal legend Robert Pires revealing he was left upset about being omitted.
He said: “He’s a professional, of course [but] he’s very upset.
“When you play for a team like Arsenal, your objective is to always play for your country.
“Especially this season because of the World Cup.
“Of course he was upset but he respects [Didier] Deschamps’ decision.
“I think Lacazette is very important for the squad. I believe in Alex.”
