It was difficult to see him leave the pitch in tears.
Salah was forced off in the first half of Liverpool’s Champions League Final against Real Madrid.
The Egyptian star was involved in a tussle with Sergio Ramos, which left the Liverpool man with a nasty looking shoulder injury.
Jurgen Klopp turned to Adam Lallana to replace Salah after the injury.
The German was visibly shocked by the incident which forced his star-man off.
Nobody will truly know if Ramos meant to injury his opponent.
What is certain however is that the injury will have a major impact on the outcome of the final.
A suspected dislocated shoulder is the early diagnosis from Liverpool.
Steven Gerrard, Rio Ferdinand and Frank Lampard, when speaking at half-time, all failed to criticise Ramos for his role in the incident
It’s the worst possible ending for what has been an unbelievable season for Salah.
Fans of Egypt will await more news on the injury, hoping that their talisman will be fit for the World Cup next month.
Salah’s injury has the whole world of football talking…
