Your first spray of Lynx Africa. Your first awkward school dance. Your first… okay, we’ll stop there.
We were all young once, but you know you’re getting old when footballers born in 2000 start appearing.
Spare a thought, then, for 37-year-old John Terry, who has to face off against teenager Ryan Sessegnon when Aston Villa take on Fulham in the Championship play-off final.
The 18-year-old became the first player born in the 2000s to score a first-team goal in the English leagues when he netted against Cardiff last season.
So we’ve dug out some more comparisons to really ram home the difference in age between the two.

In the 86th minute of Chelsea’s win 4-1 win against Aston Villa on 28 October 1998 Terry replaced Dan Petrescu to make his first-team debut.
A minute later Dennis Wise had been sent off. Coincidence? We think not.
Sessegnon wasn’t even in the pipeline at the time, if you catch our drift.
