JURGEN KLOPP is so desperate to get Naby Keita acquainted with his new team-mates that he is considering sending him a VIP ticket to the Champions League final.
The powerful midfielder will join the Reds this summer after Liverpool agreed a £55million deal with RB Leipzig.
And the German gaffer wants Keita to waste no time in feeling right at home by hopefully watching his new side be crowned kings of Europe.
Liverpool take on back-to-back winners Real Madrid in the Champions League final in Kiev on May 26.
When asked whether the 23-year-old would be heading to the final, Klopp said: “I have not been thinking about things like this but if Naby is reading this and he wants to come to the final, he is invited.
“Yes, this is not my first problem but I will think about it. Hopefully Naby will have a big effect on the team immediately because of his quality.
“This was a difficult year for Naby in Germany and for Leipzig in general.
“But he still had outstanding performances. Not the same number as last year but the whole team didn’t do exactly the same as last year.
“One thing, though, is that he doesn’t play the World Cup so he will have a full pre-season which will help him a lot.”
And after Liverpool favourite Danny Murphy said Liverpool need to strengthen three areas of the team, Klopp revealed they will be working hard to sign players in the summer.
He added: “We will probably sign a couple more players because that’s how it is. We have to strengthen first of all the squad.
“We are only looking for really good players. And the players we will be bringing in we will be 100 per cent convinced about them altogether.”
