In a premonition of Sunday League fixtures up and down the country tomorrow, West Brom and Tottenham players are currently struggling to work out who is a team-mate and who is an opponent.

Both sides have lined up in their home jerseys, with West Brom’s blue and white stripes clashing with Spurs’ white shirts and blue shorts.

It’s causing some serious issues and might explain why the first half petered out without much goalmouth action.

At one point Erik Lamela appeared to try and find Kieran Trippier but instead passed straight to Ahmed Hegazi, citing a confusion in the kits.

Either that or the Argentine really is off the pace.

Referee Mike Jones did appear to suggest a kit change at one point but that idea was shortlived.

West Brom need to overcome both Spurs and the kit issues with a win today or face relegation with Stoke.

Spurs still haven’t wrapped up a top-four spot either with Chelsea breathing down their necks.
