WEST HAM are plotting a summer swoop for Danny Drinkwater, according to reports.

The England midfielder moved to Stamford Bridge in August for £35million from Leicester City.

But the move to West London has not gone according to plan, the 28-year-old has started just 12 games in all competitions and has lost his place in the Three Lions set up.

He formed one of the most effective midfield partnerships in recent years with N’Golo Kante at the King Power, helping the Foxes to their stunning Premier League title win two years ago.
