Because on the biggest day of the Scottish Premiership season Celtic are going to win the title at a canter.
Brendan Rodgers’ side knew a win against their arch rivals would wrap up a seventh successive crown.
And any doubts they would clinch it today were extinguished inside the first 45 minutes as the Bhoys raced into a 3-0 lead.
Two goals from striker Odsonne Edouard were followed by a superb individual strike from James Forrest all before the break.
It was a truly commanding half from the hosts at Celtic Park – and their players royally started taking the p*** after Forrest added a third.
During the celebrations, Celtic defender Mikael Lustig grabbed a policeman’s hat and wore it with pride as the players cheered with the fans.
Truly a walk in the park – and Celtic added another two goals inside the first six minutes after half time.
The display emphasised the gulf in class between the Old Firm rivals and the size of the task facing Gerrard, should the Liverpool legend take over.
No pressure, Stevie.
