They are keen to bring in more youth, with the first being Arthur, 21, who will officially join from Gremio at the end of the campaign.
And Mundo Deportivo report Barcelona are looking at Ajax sensations Matthijs de Ligt, 18, and Frenkie de Jong, 20 — as well as Antoine Griezmann.
Barcelona are aware that, while Ousmane Dembele has many qualities, he is not a prolific goal scorer, and that is why the addition of the Atletico Madrid hotshot is key.
Meanwhile, Luis Suarez’s Champions League dry spell — 13 matches — away from the Nou Camp is becoming a concern.

Griezmann will have an £86million buy-out clause at the end of the campaign, and Barcelona are the favourites to land him.
De Ligt could come in as a replacement for the departing Thomas Vermaelen in the summer, though they could yet delay any deal for the Ajax starlets until the end of next season.
Barcelona enjoy close relationship with the Dutch giants, and De Jong is another player they admire.
Question marks remain over the future of Yerry Mina, who has barely featured since arriving in January, and he may be sent out on loan.
