MANCHESTER UNITED and Chelsea are chasing £40million-rated Watford star Richarlison ahead of a potential summer move.
According to Sky Sports, the Brazilian star, 20, looks set to leave Vicarage Road, with a handful of European giants noting their interest.
Watford only signed Richarlison last summer for £11.2m on a five-year deal, with the 20-year-old quickly hitting his stride.
The former Fluminese star scored five goals in his first 12 games and generally looked lively for the Hornets.
However, he has since looked more sluggish and struggled to find his feet after his hot start – having not scored since November.
Watford are said to believe Richarlison’s solid 12 months of football – thanks to going straight from Brazil to England with no “summer break” – to be the cause.
Chelsea were keen on bringing the young Brazilian to Stamford Bridge last summer.
But Richarlison couldn’t resist the chance to play regular first-team football under Marco Silva.
Yet with Silva gone – and new boss Javi Gracia holding the reins – the ex-Fluminese man could be happy to walk away for pastures new.
The Brazil Under-20s star is also on the radar of Tottenham, Paris-Saint Germain and Arsenal going into the summer window.
