We bet you didn’t expect to see pictures of Prince William and John Carew arm in arm this morning.
The Royal punched the air in delight as he watched his beloved Aston Villa narrowly beat Cardiff to keep their automatic promotion hopes alive.
The Duke of Cambridge was in Birmingham for the clash while Kate, who is weeks away from giving birth to their third child, was 117 miles away at home in Kensington Palace.
And William spent the entire game alongside Villa cult hero John Carew.
The duo were jubilant after Jack Grealish netted a stunning winner for the home side in the dying minutes.
He appeared to have a lively discussion with grinning Norwegian Carew who played 113 games for Villa between 2007 and 2011.
Although it can’t have been a comfortable night for the future King, who witnessed a lively Cardiff side spurn some huge chances and hit the post.
But when Grealish wound up on the edge of the box under a high ball, the young midfielder gave the crowd a Royal treat.
William has supported Aston Villa since childhood because he was determined to be “different” from his friends and he wants Prince George to follow the club too.
Grealish, 22, has had his fair share of critics over the past couple of years for misdemeanours off the field.
However, his sublime volley gave Villa a win that sees them just about stay in the hunt for automatic promotion.
They are still four points behind Cardiff in third and five behind Fulham in second, with four games to go.
