Christian Pulisic just scored an incredible goal for Dortmund but did he mean to do it?

The young American hit a lovely goal for BVB but was it meant to be a cross?

Christian Pulisic is undoubtedly one of the most exciting youngsters around at the moment.

The American is seemingly on the radar of all the major clubs in the Premier League and we reckon Dortmund will be fighting them off in a year or two.

But in the meantime, the German giants are enjoying every moment of flair and technique from the 19-year-old – and the odd spectacular goal, too.

And in their Bundesliga clash with Stuttgart this afternoon, he scored one of the nicest goals you’ll see this weekend.

But did he even mean to score it? We’re not too sure and we think you should be the judge.

Take a look.

Sprinting down the right-wing, the wonderkid links up Lukasz Piszczek to “cross” the ball into the box towards Michy Batshuayi, but he seems to overcook it a bit.

Not that that’s a bad thing in this case, as the ball fizzles over the BVB striker and the goalkeeper, straight into the top left corner of the goal.

Judging by his position, we’d say he was attempting a cross there, right?

As he celebrates the goal, Pulisic appears to shake his head when his teammates gather around him, as if to say “nope, I definitely didn’t mean that one!”

We respect the honesty, Christian.
