Tottenham are reportedly weighing up a £50million summer swoop for Ajax’s teen sensation Matthijs de Ligt.
Spurs boss Mauricio Pochettino is lining up potential replacements for Toby Alderweireld, as speculation continues to mount over the centre-backs future.
According to football.london, the North London club are keen on luring the Dutch international, who would cost around £50m.

The 18-year-old has established himself as one of the top prospects in Europe after a number of starring performances for the Eredivisie giants.
While Arsenal and Barcelona are also in the running to nab the youngster, who is being touted as a future world star.
He became Ajax’s youngest-ever captain when he donned the armband in January, and has stepped up since Davinson Sanchez left Amsterdam for the Lilywhites last summer for £36m.
Spurs will be hoping their relationship with Ajax will be the difference, having also acquired the likes of Christian Eriksen, Jan Vertonghen and Alderweireld in recent years.

But with the Belgian international reportedly stalling over a new deal at the club, Tottenham are prepared to cash in on the ex-Atletico Madrid ace.
Alderweireld’s contract expires in 2019, and if Spurs activate a one-year extension to his deal, the 29-year-old will be available for £25million next year.
He is reportedly being chased by Paris Saint-Germain, who are willing to pay the La Liga winner £10m-a-year.
