What more can we really say about Cristiano Ronaldo?
The Real Madrid forward is a modern day phenomenon, a freak of nature and highly regarded as one of the greatest players of all-time.
Even at the grand old age of 33, the Portuguese star is still scoring goals and sinking dreams.
Just ask Gianluigi Buffon.
In fact, Juventus must be cursing their luck to be up against this guy again.
He was the linchpin of their Champions League final defeat last season – netting twice in Cardiff – and was on target this evening in their quarter-final duel, finding the target after just three minutes.
This means he’s now hit 21 goals at this stage of the competition – the same amount Juve have managed in total.
He’s also scored in every one of his games against the Serie A giants, netting eight times in total in his six appearances versus the Old Lady.
Loves a trip to Turin, this guy.
And if that wasn’t enough, Ronny broke a Champions League record tonight by netting in 10 consecutive Champions League games, all that despite suffering a somewhat bleak start to the season.
So, there we go.
Ronaldo is freakishly good, he loves a goal against Juve and we’re starting to seriously question why we backed Paulo Dybala to score first in this one.
