Reds boss Jurgen Klopp recently declared that Salah is edging closer to being on the same level as Lionel Messi.

The current record of 31 is held by Alan Shearer (1995-96), Cristiano Ronaldo (2007-08) and Luis Suarez (2013-14). With 0.93 goals per game (28 in 30) and seven PL matches left to play, Salah could finish on a record 35. SALAH has 36 goals in all comps — more than any Liverpool player in their debut season. Fernando Torres was the previous record-holder (33 in 2007-08).
