As derbies go it doesn’t get much spicier than Fenerbahce v Galatasaray.

So when Galatasaray hosted an open training session before travelling to take on Fenerbahce you knew what you were going to get- flares, flares and more flares.

Galatasaray’s supporters turned out in numbers at the club’s Turk Telekom Stadium ahead of the 387th fixture between the two clubs.
Former Premier League players Bafetimbi Gomis and Sofiane Feghouli were on show, as was former Inter Milan defender Yuto Nagatomo.
But the supporters were undoubtedly the stars of the show.
Galatasaray finished fourth in last season’s Turkish Super Lig.
However Fatih Terim’s side are currently top of the table, three points ahead of Besiktas in second place.
Fenerbahce are fourth in the table but only trail Galatasaray by six points, making this derby all the more important.
Not that either set of supporters need much encouragement to go absolutely mental.
