Diego Costa is a complete nutcase.
But boy do we miss him in the Premier League.
The irrepressible Spanish forward left English shores to return to Spain in January after relentlessly berating and bullying defences for over three years.
Costa was a huge hit amongst the Chelsea fans but proved a nightmare for some of his managers, with his relationship with Antonio Conte deteriorating dramatically in his final few months.
Conte made it obvious Costa wasn’t his preferred choice, replacing him with Alvaro Morata in the summer after the striker agreed a move back to Atletico Madrid.
And if you thought any bad feelings between the two had disappeared since his departure, think again.
That’s after Costa, while watching his former side in action against Barcelona, chose to scribble out the Italian’s name on his Instagram when the line up was released.
Petty, but pretty funny.
What would Chelsea fans have given to have their big mad striker leading the line against the Catalans?
The Blues have lacked a consistent focal point all season and that cutting edge was evident again in the defeat at the Camp Nou.
