Yerry Mina has only played two official games for Barcelona since arriving from Palmeiras in January.
But that hasn’t stopped him establishing a reputation as a bit of a cult hero at the Nou Camp.
For a start he was named after Tom and Jerry, meaning that he’ll complete a very satisfying story if he plays next to Thomas Vermaelen.
So there was no surprise when he had a special celebration in the locker after scoring during the Catalan Super Cup against Espanyol.
The game went to penalties after a 0-0 draw, with Mina slotting during Barcelona’s eventual win.
After hitting the back of the net, Mina responded in the only way he knows how.
Mina should be a part of Colombia’s 2018 World Cup plans, where he’ll no doubt show similar nonchalance in the face of pressure that would make most of us melt.
We can’t wait to see what he does if he ever scores in a Champions League final.
