Heung-Min Song scores the best accidental goal you will ever see

After missing two great chances earlier in the game Son finally found the back of the net but it took a lot of luck.

He won’t care a jot.

And neither will a single Spurs fan in Wembley or watching on TV.

Heung-Min scored the opener against Juventus and it was the luckiest scuff you will ever see.

Spurs were already riding their luck when Jan Vertonghen brought down Douglas Costa for a stonewall penalty earlier in the first half.

Other than that they had been a constant menace to Juventus’s back three with particular joy coming through Son v Andrea Barzagli down the right.

Then a flowing move in the 39th minute led to Spurs opening a crucial lead against their glamorous opponents.

Pure delight for Son

Pure delight for Son

Harry Kane came deep to recieve the ball and turned into a brilliant playmaker as he rolled the ball in to Christian Eriksen in acres of space between the lines.

Dele Alli’s shot was blocked before Kieran Trippier rolled in across goal to Son and all he had to do was put his foot through it.

And then came the moment of magic.

Son mistimed his shot so it ended up ricocheting off off his standing foot with a vicious spin that bamboozled Girogio Chiellini as he desperately tried to block the shot and left Gigi Buffon scrambling on his line but unable to stop it.

As I said none of the Spurs players cared one bit and Son wheeled away in pure delight.

It was the first time Juventus have been behind in any game since November.

And Son has now been involved in 22 goals in 23 Wembley appearances this season with 14 goals and eight assists.

Who needs Kane eh?
