Four consecutive defeats in all competitions, most recently in the 2-1 defeat at Brighton, simply rubbed salt in to the wounds.

In fact, only eight Premier League teams have spent more time losing this term than Wenger’s struggling stars.

At the other end of the table, it’s Man City and Liverpool dominating – as they sit No1 and No2 respectively – in both most time spent winning and least time spent losing.

Meanwhile, Crystal Palace have spent the most time of all teams losing, at a horrifying 35 per cent, while sitting last in time spent winning on just 12 per cent.

Meanwhile, on the individual front, Timothy Fosu-Mensah has spent the most time losing – at a massive 49.3 per cent of his playing time.

On the other hands, Man City star Ilkay Gundogan – fresh from his record-breaking performance against Chelsea – is the most successful player this season.

The German has spent 62 per cent of his playing time leading – with Liverpool’s Loris Karius boasting an impressive 54 per cent.
