ArsenalFanTV is the greatest tragicomedy of all time.
For fans of other clubs, there’s nothing quite like indulging in the inarticulate meltdowns of the regular cast following an Arsenal loss.
Hector Bellerin recently spoke out against the YouTube channel, questioning whether people who profit from the club’s failings can call themselves legitimate fans.
It’s a decisive issue with many other Arsenal supporters feeling ArsenalFanTV portrays the entire fanbase in a negative light.
People this way inclined will have been pleased to see a more level-headed, well-spoken Arsenal fan speaking outside the Emirates earlier this week.
The fan is question spoke to none other than Gary Neville for Sky Sports before the league fixture on Thursday night and the results were refreshingly positive…
Well said, young man.
Neville slammed the Gunners’ performance in the League Cup final last weekend.
The former Man United defender questioned the desire of Aaron Ramsey and Granit Xhaka, labelling the midfield pair ‘spineless’ in a passionate rant while on commentary duty.
While many Arsenal fans naturally leapt to the defence of their team, plenty of others agreed with Neville’s damning assessment.
A role as full-time presenter of a direct rival to ArsenalFanTV is almost definitely out of the question for Neville but some will thank him for his role in the exposure of the less, shall we say, animated side of the club’s fanbase.
Not a ‘blud’ or ‘fam’ in sight…
