Welcome to the party, Sadio Mane.
The Liverpool forward has had to sit back and watch team-mates Mohamed Salah and Roberto Firmino hog all the headlines in recent weeks.
The dynamic Reds duo have been relentless all season, hitting the 30 and 20 goal marks for the season respectively while Mane comparatively struggles.
But, at least during the actual 90 minutes of their 5-0 rout of Porto on Wednesday night, the Senegalese forward really had his shooting boots on last night.
Mane scored a brilliant hat-trick in the Reds’ emphatic last 16 first leg win to end a barren run of six games.
But, according to the Daily Mail, his red hot touch in front of goal wasn’t in keeping with the form he was showing in the warm up.
During a shooting drill Jurgen Klopp had orchestrated in the build up to kick off, Mane was getting ‘increasingly irritated’ by his finishing.
Salah and Firmino were making it look easy but Mane was really struggling, kicking the turf in frustration at one point.
Thankfully his wayward shooting started and ended in the warm up before giving the Porto defence a chastening evening as soon as the game kicked off.
He even completed his hat-trick with a ferocious drive at the same end he’d been repeatedly smashing the advertising hoardings prior to kick off.
It took his tally to 12 goals in all competitions – the same as he had at this stage last season when he was supposedly Liverpool’s best player.
Reds fans will be hoping this is a sign of things to come.
