PSG are set to lock horns with Real Madrid tonight in the Champions League without Thiago Silva.
According to L’Équipe, manager Unai Emery is set to drop the PSG captain for tonight’s game with 22-year-old Presnel Kimpembe stepping in.
The Brazilian has been first choice for the French side in the Champions League so far this season, starting five out of six group stage matches, but even with no injury concerns the 33-year-old can’t beat Kimpembe for a starting spot.
Kimpembe will partner Marquinhos and will make it four straight starts tonight as the Frenchman hopes to reproduce the form he displayed when Los Blancos beat Barcelona 4-0 last season.

Silva is reported to be ‘incredibly surprised’ with the news as Marquinhos looks set to captain the side.
Both Silva and Kimpembe have started 16 Ligue 1 matches so far this season but it’s the latter who gets the nod this evening.
So with Thiago Silva dropped, can PSG cause an upset at the Bernabéu tonight?
