West Brom look pretty doomed at the moment, don’t they?
Following their 3-0 defeat at Chelsea on Monday, the Premier League’s bottom club are now seven points adrift of safety.
What’s more, they’ve only won three games all season, while their dreadful return of 21 goals scored is the second-worst in the top-flight.
Amidst all of the chaos, reasonably new manager Alan Pardew has convinced the board to allow the team a trip to Barcelona for some mid-winter warm-weather training, in an attempt to build team-spirit ahead of their final 11 games.
But according to the Telegraph, the lads aren’t too happy with Pardew and his methods, which is understood to be causing some friction within the squad.
They’re apparently not too pleased to be going to Spain, either.
Who doesn’t love a free holiday to Spain?
West Brom return to England on Friday ahead their FA Cup clash against fellow Premier League strugglers Southampton on Saturday.
They then have a potentially crucial clash at home to Huddersfield a week later.
And they might have to do without Daniel Sturridge for those games, who lasted just three minutes against Chelsea before pulling up with a hamstring injury.
In total, the Liverpool loanee has played just 78 minutes for West Brom between completing his loan move to the Baggies and suffering yet another injury.
