Does the name Omar Abdulrahman ring any bells?
If not, you’re probably in the majority.
The 26-year-old midfielder has spent his entire career playing in Abu Dhabi for Al-Ain as well as picking up 57 caps for the United Arab Emirates.

Abdulrahman is widely considered to be one of the most talented players outside of Europe.
But for how long?
Besiktas are looking to sign Abdulrahman on a free transfer when his contract expires at the end of the month, according to Sporx.
It’s not the first time he’s come close to moving to Europe.
In 2012 Abdulrahman spent two weeks on trial with Man City and even went as playing a friendly for the club.
But work permit issues meant the move never went through, despite City being willing to offer him a four-year deal.
If Abdulrahman does join Besiktas he’ll be linking up with a maverick squad.
Pepe, Ricardo Quaresma, Ryan Babel, Vagner Love and Talisca have all made Vodafone Park their home in recent years.
One more maverick wouldn’t hurt then.
