Need an excuse to buy yet more football kits? Yep, thought so.
The good people at Nike have launched a website where you can buy a host of football kits.
We know what you’re thinking. It’s not exactly revolutionary.
But it’s not just professional clubs whose kits are up for sale.
The Jersey Shop X Nike by You program allows collaborators to submit designs which, if successful, are sold on the site.
Three designs have already been successful and are on sale alongside Nike’s iconic range of football kits.
Romance FC from Hackney founded in 2012 and took inspiration from the ’80s and ’90s for their shirt.
It ‘combines classic geometric patterns that form interlocking teeth’ which, in plain English, means it looks funky as f***.
The next design comes courtesy of 24 London, which was started by Fulham-native Fabio Nunes.
Two torn ACL injuries in three years saw Nunes turn his attention from football to design.
The semi-pro footballer launched the 24 London brand in 2015 and it has gone from strength to strength since.
The third design comes from America, via FC Harlem.
They were established in 1991 in an attempt to expose local youngsters to proper football.
Nike will establish community spaces in cities around the world this summer, from which people will be able to attend workshops and design their own kits.
The best of those kits will be available on Nike’s Jersey Shop so you can get yourself something unique to turn up to 5-a-side in.
Just take our money already.
