ZINEDINE ZIDANE will reportedly sell star playmaker Isco if he remains in charge of Real Madrid this summer.
News outlet AS claims big names such as Spain international Isco, 25, will be axed in order to usher in a new era of Galaticos.
Zidane is under pressure after enduring a terrible term in La Liga, despite storming to the title last season, and is said to be disappointed with a number of influential players.
Real are believed to be looking at Chelsea’s Antonio Conte and Napoli’s Maurizio Sarri as possible replacements for the French tactician, who has also won two Champions Leagues during his two years at the helm.
But Los Blancos chiefs could yet give club legend Zizou a pass due to his iconic status, as well as enough dough to bankroll a huge squad overhaul this summer.
The likes of Blues ace Eden Hazard, Manchester United goalkeeper David De Gea and Tottenham striker Harry Kane have all been linked with Santiago Bernabeu switches.
And that spells bad news for the likes of Isco, who has majorly underperformed during the campaign despite penning a lucrative five-year contract in September last year.
The former Malaga star was linked with Manchester United and Tottenham before extending his Real stay.
And Isco also revealed there was contact from Barcelona after they lost Neymar to Paris Saint-Germain.
Chelsea star Alvaro Morata has also expressed his wish to play with Isco at club level, and a possible deal involving Hazard could be mooted if the rumours turn out to be substantial.
