The England Under-19 star made his Bundesliga debut for the side last month and duly hit the woodwork with an effort in a goalless draw against Wolfsburg.
He made a further three appearances for the German giants before injuring his ankle in the 3-2 win over Cologne on Friday.
Sadly, the club have said he could be out for “several weeks” with ankle ligament damage, meaning he’s a doubt for their Europa League clash with Atalanta.
Still, his early signs are very encouraging and certainly hasn’t looked out of place at all in the Bundesliga.
In a recent interview, Dortmund midfielder Nuri Sahin couldn’t overstate his excitement over the youngster, saying: “I wouldn’t buy a ticket to watch a player like me, but I would always buy a ticket to watch Jadon Sancho beating two players.”
We hear you, Nuri.
Dortmund coach Peter Stoger is another big fan of the teenager.
Ahead of his debut in January, Stoger said: “He has real quality, even though he isn’t quite the finished article in front of goal.”
