Former Manchester United defender and Instagram hero Patrice Evra is returning to the Premier League.
That’s right, the guy who posts hilarious motivational videos on Instagram every Monday looks all set to join West Ham on a free transfer rather soon.
The 36-year-old – who was a fan favourite at Old Trafford – last turned out for French side Marseille, but was suspended and then fired by the Ligue 1 club after kicking a fan in the head during a pre-match warm-up back in November.
Yep, you read that right.
Highly reliable West Ham source ExWHUemployee says the club could sign the former France international and pointed out that he played under current Hammers boss David Moyes during their time together at United.
Evra, who won five Premier League titles at United as well as the Champions League, has 81-caps for France and adds to the Hammers experience in defence.
Alongside former Man City full-back Pablo Zabaleta, the pair have a combined age of 70.
It’s time to follow Evra on Instagram, West Ham fans.
And he’s well worth it.
