The Premier League is all about pure entertainment, right?
We love epic games and big score-lines, and apparently it doesn’t get much better than Arsenal going up against Everton.
That’s right, following their 5-1 destruction of the Toffees on Saturday, Arsenal v Everton has become the first Premier League fixture to amass 150 goals scored.
It’s no surprise really, considering the Gunners have often been the winning side in the clash, with games in recent years reaching ridiculous final results.
If memory serves us well, Arsene Wenger’s side were 6-1 winners at Goodison Park back in 2009, while the likes of Dennis Bergkamp and Robert Pires helped them to a 7-0 smashing back in 2005.
Ah, the good old days.
Toffees boss Sam Allardyce was almost beside himself after yesterday’s result, saying he “very angry” about the “pathetic” and “unacceptable” display, as they were 4-0 behind by half-time.
That’s what you get when you sign Eliaquim Mangala, Sam.

It was happier day for Arsenal debutantes.
While Aaron Ramsey stole the headlines with a brilliant hat-trick, club record-signing Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang marked his debut with a goal in an all-action display, which also saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan notch an impressive three assists.
