Vincent Kompany is quite a large man.
So if you go in for a 50-50 with the Manchester City man, you’re more than likely to end up on the wrong end.

And that was the case for not one, not two but THREE Burnley players inside the first 15 minutes of their clash on Saturday.
Kompany, making his first start in the league in 2018, took the meaning of the phrase ‘let him know you’re there early’ quite literally.
Firstly, he put Ashley Barnes on his backside after an aerial challenge that resulted in the Burnley forward requiring treatment after falling awkwardly.
Then just minutes later he was at it again, this time with his head, to leave Barnes’ strike partner Sam Vokes in a daze after a brutal clash of heads.
You really wouldn’t wish that upon your worst enemy.
But the big Belgian wasn’t satisfied, turning his attention next to Burnley goalkeeper Nick Pope in arguably the most painful of the lot.
Bernardo Silva whipped in an inviting cross which Kompany attempted to head in at the back post.
Only the City captain missed the ball entirely and instead ploughed his large head into Pope’s nether regions, leaving the stopper in a heap on the floor.
Wasn’t it meant to be City players on the end of a rough tackling conspiracy?
