PSG are considering a move for Karim Benzema at the end of the season, according to reports in Spain.
The French striker, 30, has been way below par and could be allowed to leave in the summer as Real Madrid prepare an overhaul in attack.
While PSG’s No 9, Edinson Cavani, may also look to leave in the summer — despite breaking the club’s goal scoring record — due to his difficult relationship with Neymar.
Sport report that Benzema is on the market, and the Ligue 1 giants’ president Nasser Al-Khelaifi is a long-term admirer.
Despite the Real Madrid man’s struggles this campaign, he remains one of the most revered strikers around.
He is Los Blancos’ seventh top goal scorer of all-time, and would still be considered a coup by a side like PSG.
Benzema’s buy-out clause is set at £220million — but Real Madrid would not expect to get back anywhere near that amount.
