Arsenal and Everton ‘set to battle’ for Inter Milan powerhouse

The 32-cap Croatia international, who has made just seven starts for Inter so far this term, is valued at £12million

ARSENAL and Everton will reportedly battle it out for the signature of Inter Milan midfielder Marcelo Brozovic.

The 25-year-old has been regularly linked with a move to the Premier League and is also said to be on Liverpool and Tottenham’s radar.

The report claims Inter are open to selling the Croatia international in a bid to free up funds.

SportItalia claim that Inter are ready to offload Brozovic in order to land Paris Saint-Germain star Javier Pastore.

The Italian giants are yet to receive any offers for the Croat, though the report claims a bid will be submitted soon.

Meanwhile, Borussia Dortmund have made what is effectively a public challenge for Arsenal to meet their £60 million asking price for Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang.

Aubameyang has clearly indicated a desire to leave and was left out of the club’s two most recent matches, before being included and then booed by the Dortmund fans against Freiburg on Saturday.

Sporting director Michael Zorc had earlier also attempted to clarify the situation, he said: “Either our demands are met – then there may be still a transfer.

“If they are not fulfilled then Aubameyang plays until the summer in Dortmund.”
