Richarlison could be following his mentor Marco Silva out of Watford very soon

The Brazilian baller has intensified the speculation that he could be leaving Vicarage Road after fellow Portuguese speaker Marco Silva was sacked this month

You can only say you’ve brought this on yourself Watford.

You might have blamed sacking Marco Silva on the attention from Everton but the news that Richarlison could be leaving too is all you.

The Portuguese next Jose Mourinho manager was binned on Sunday with Watford hovering just three points above relegation and sinking quickly and now it looks like one of their best talents could be following him out the door.

Going by reports in Brazil, Richarlison had made his feelings clear that he wants to leave Vicarage Road since his ‘mentor’ Silva is no longer there.

It all started with an all too public Twitter reply to Watford’s announcement that Silva couldn’t do any more for the team.

Immediately after the announcement Richarlison posted a simply angry face emoji aimed at the club’s decision.

Silva brought the Brazilian to the Hornets in the summer and after a blistering start to the season Richarlison’s form has tailed off as the team suffered eight defeats in their last 11 games.

The athletic winger is reportedly admired by Chelsea and there is speculation he could make the move to Stamford Bridge this month.

Especially considering that he is in a WhatsApp group with fellow Brazilians and Chelsea players David Luiz and Willian.

The 20-year-old remains one of Watford’s most important players having contributed five goals and five assists in 24 Premier League appearances this season.

Only Abdoulaye Doucoure, another gem uncovered by the Watford scouting team, has scored more goals for Watford this year.

However, there are claims in the English press that Watford are striking back by offering Richarlison an improved contract warding off any bids.
