If you haven’t seen the Alexis Sanchez unveiling video yet… what on Earth have you been doing?
Manchester United successfully broke the internet – and triggered just about every Arsenal fan on the planet – with their brilliant take on how to announce a new signing:
150,000 retweets in just over 24 hours? Not bad lads.
It’s the status quo these days to make outlandish announcements, with the benchmark set last summer by Besiktas who even created their own ‘Come to Besiktas’ slogan.
But while the Sanchez video is certainly impressive it hasn’t escaped mockery.
Because this effort from Motherwell is truly exceptional.
Upon announcing the signing of defender Peter Hartley, the Scottish Premiership side created their own version of the Sanchez video:
