Alexis Sanchez has been expertly trolled by Yeovil Town

The League Two club had the internet rolling on the floor with their brilliant Twitter post

Yeovil Town are enjoying their moment in the limelight.

The League Two side face Manchester United in the FA Cup fourth round on Friday night and everyone at the club is clearly very excited to be hosting one of the biggest clubs in the world at Huish Park.

Even more so now that United have just signed a megastar in Alexis Sanchez.

A crack team of Jose Mourinho and Ed Woodward managed to persuade the Chilean that Old Trafford would be the place for him.

They also promised him half the money in Dubai on a weekly basis to move to Manchester.

But of course, Sanchez said it had nothing to do with the reported £500,000-a-week he would be paid and all about moving to the biggest club in the world with an opportunity to win trophies.

The ending is true – just ask Robin van Persie – but we are sure the half a million quid a week will soften the blow of having to rehouse Atom and Humber.

However, after Sanchez’ comments were released Yeovil Town took their chance to troll the 29-year-old off the park with this cheeky tweet.

Fair play lads.

Except if he was still at Arsenal he wouldn’t even be playing in this round of the tournament becuase the floundered against the Championship’s Nottingham Forest int he third round.

The best thing about this internet banter is that Yeovil freely admit that their away dressing room might not even be the biggest in the league.

We are sure the likes of Luton Town and Notts County will have something to say on the matter.

Look, there is Arsenal. Its not such a bad place

Back to Sanchez, United landed one of the deals of the decade getting Arsenal’s best player in a swap for Henrikh Mkhitaryan who had been in and out of the team from the subs bench this season.

In a world where Neymar is being signed for £200million and Philippe Coutinho is worth around £150million, this is a very shrewd move from the Old Trafford hierarchy.

Who will do better?
