JUVENTUS are ready to make a move for Edinson Cavani, who is fed up a Paris Saint-Germain, according to reports in Italy.
The Uruguayan has already scored 26 times for the Ligue 1 side this season, and equalled Zlatan Ibrahimovic’s record of 156 goals as the club’s all-time leading scorer in the 8-0 win over Dijon.
But that romp was overshadowed by another on-pitch row with team-mate Neymar.
And Corriere dello Sport report Cavani wants to leave the French capital at the end of the season, with Juventus set to pounce.
Against Dijon, PSG were awarded a penalty, and the ex-Napoli had the chance to become the club’s all-time leading scorer outright.
However, Neymar — who had already bagged a hat-trick — snatched the ball off him and left the pitch to boos, despite scoring four.
Cavani is reportedly sick of the controversy and is seriously considering leaving the club at the end of the season.
Juventus had considered making a bid in the summer of 2016 following the sale of Paul Pogba before eventually signing Gonzalo Higuain.
Despite playing alongside more high-profile names in Ibrahimovic and Neymar, Cavani’s goal scoring record is sensational with 156 in 226 matches.
The Uruguayan shot to prominence in Serie A. First with Palermo, before becoming a star at Juve’s rivals Napoli.
