ARSENAL are in talks with Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang over a transfer and want to land Malcom for £40million, according to reports.
Negotiations over Bordeaux forward Malcom are at an advanced stage and Arsene Wenger is hoping to snap him up this month.
Borussia Dortmund star Aubameyang has been recommended to Arsenal chiefs by new head of recruitment Sven Mislintat, say the Telegraph.
The transfer guru helped sign Aubameyang for Dortmund in 2013 and has been alerted to his availability.
Wenger is looking for replacements for Chile forward Alexis Sanchez.
He was left out of the squad that lost to Bournemouth yesterday and is set to move to one of the Manchester clubs this month.
Aubameyang, 28, has long been regarded as one of the hottest properties in world football.
However it remains to be seen how a player with a reputation for misbehaving could fit in under Wenger.
In an interesting development, current Arsenal striker Olivier Giroud could move in the opposite direction.
Dortmund will want to fill the hole left by Aubameyang and the France hitman could do the job.
Bordeaux boss Jocelyn Gourvennec has hinted Malcom could leave the club this month.
Addressing rumours of a potential exit away from Ligue 1, Gourvennec revealed he is uncertain whether the Brazilian will remain at the club.
He said: “With Malcom I am taking it day by day… if he leaves, he will be replaced.”
Manchester United star Anthony Martial has also been linked with a move to the Emirates.
The Old Trafford side are said to be in pole position to land Sanchez because they are willing to meet his £35m price tag.
