Stand down Man United fans.
Even though the bookmakers think Jurgen Klopp could pull off the transfer of the year by bringing Antoine Griezmann to Liverpool, those of a United persuasion hold high hopes he will be at Old Trafford next season.
A lot of that confidence is to do with Griezmann’s French connection with Paul Pogba – the two are huge football friends and the former Juventus man has been deployed as an ‘agent’ before.

However, Griezmann’s latest movements on Pogba’s Instagram suggest a move away from Atletico Madrid is by no means a certainty.
Griezmann said it would have been ‘dirty’ to leave Los Rojiblancos at the end of last season as they were transitioning into their new home the Wanda Metropolitano.
But that opened the door to suggestions that the 26-year-old was bound to move on to pastures new very soon.
United have been Griezmann’s biggest admirers and Pogba has made no secret of the fact that he wants his best mate to join him in Manchester.

Now it looks like the Griezmann could have just stuck a spanner in the works.
Pogba’s latest Instagram post is a photo of him clad in red and white with the caption of the colours and the top emoji.
A thinly-veiled reference to United being the best club in the world and the best that plays in red and white, we assume.
But Griezmann has slid into the comments with a simple, “ATLETICO MADRID’ in response to his countryman.
Griezmann has scored five league goals this season as Atleti find themselves in second position, nine points behind Barcelona but crucially seven above city rivals Real Madrid.
Despite seemingly confirming his love for Atletico on Instagram, the left-footer put a lot of fans on alert as he flew to London for the NBA game on Thursday.
He was pictured with sitting with Arsenal’s Nacho Monreal and Alexandre Lacazette, resulting in Gooners predictably losing their minds.
Dream on, Arsene.
