Manchester United have reportedly made enquiries about Jamie Vardy and Javier Hernandez.
The Red Devils have also been linked with a shock move for Arsenal star Alexis Sanchez.
But the Telegraph are claiming that if that deal does not come off, then United will look to either Vardy or Hernandez.
Zlatan Ibrahimovic is still out with a follow-up injury after damaging his cruciate ligament and Romelu Lukaku is struggling at times.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial are chipping in with goals but it seems Jose Mourinho does not see them as out-and-out strikers.
The report suggests that Leicester’s Vardy would cost around £35million but Hernandez would be an easier deal to complete.
Hammers boss David Moyes is happy to listen to offers for his striker’s as he looks to put his stamp on the squad.
And Mourinho has made no secret that he is a fan of the Mexican striker.
Hernandez was a fan favourite at Old Trafford but was let go by David Moyes in 2014 but could make a return.
Sanchez is still likely to move to Manchester City so United could be on the lookout for other striking options.
