Michy Batshuayi wanted by Sevilla as Chelsea outcast is lined up for January window loan move

Striker fears for his spot in Belgium's World Cup squad this summer after barely featuring under Antonio Conte

Chelsea outcast Michy Batshuayi is reportedly being lined up for a loan move to Sevilla this month.

ESPN claim that the Belgian could be set to depart Stamford Bridge in order to save his World Cup dream.

Batshuayi has barely featured under Antonio Conte this season, with the Italian preferring to go with Eden Hazard as his main striker when Alvaro Morata has been unavailable.

It means the 24-year-old is now sweating over his future in west London.

And with the world’s biggest tournament on the horizon, Batshuayi could now be set for a move to Spain to secure regular action.

New Sevilla boss Vincenzo Montella has apparently identified the hitman as the perfect short-term signing.

The Blues have already snapped up Everton playmaker Ross Barkley for £15million.

And highly-rated young defender Andreas Christensen has penned a new contract until 2022.

However, Chelsea have occasionally struggled for goals despite Morata’s good start to life in England, and Conte is believed to be targeting West Ham’s Andy Carroll on loan.
