Fulham have revealed that Ryan Sessegnon will not be leaving the club this month.
Manchester United and Tottenham are both reportedly keen on signing the 17-year-old prodigy.
Sessegnon has established himself as one of the top teens in English football.
And despite signing a lucrative new deal last summer, it was believed United and Spurs were preparing mega-money bids to land the left-back in January.
Sessegnon is expected to become British football’s most expensive teenager once he leaves Craven Cottage for the top flight, beating Anthony Martial’s £36million fee to Old Trafford.
But Jose Mourinho and Mauricio Pochettino will have to wait until the summer before presenting Sessegnon with their offers and plans for the future.
Fulham vice-chairman Tony Khan made the shock revelation on Wednesday.
But it does mean the Cottagers do expect Sessegnon to depart, giving major boosts to both United and Spurs.

The Telegraph report Khan as saying: “As it’s been the subject of a great deal of speculation, I’d like to announce that Ryan Sessegnon is staying with Fulham football club and will not be departing during this January transfer window.
“Ryan is a very important part of the Fulham family, and we’re grateful that he’ll be with us we fight to achieve promotion this season.”
