Tottenham are ready to reignite their interest in Barcelona outcast Andre Gomes, according to reports.
Boss Mauricio Pochettino tracked the attacking midfielder in the summer but failed in a last ditch attempt in luring him to the Premier League.
But the Argentine gaffer is growing confident that he can finally land the Portuguese this month.
Gomes, 24, has made just two starts for the La Liga table toppers this season and looks certain to be shown the exit door.
The Express claim Spurs are lining up a £15million bid for the former Benfica man after pulling out of a deal to sign Ross Barkley.
Barca’s £145m signing of Philippe Coutinho has also left Gomes even further down the pecking order.

Gomes has attracted interest from Premier League rivals Manchester United but Jose Mourinho is unlikely to make a move for him in January.
That has cleared the way for Spurs to make their move as Pochettino eyes further options in midfield.
The gaffer wants to relieve the pressure on the shoulders of Dele Alli and Christian Eriksen.
Meanwhile Spurs will be hoping to tie up a new contract for striker Harry Kane after he admitted not talks over an extension on his deal.
